Counselor's Cupboard and Service Projects

Counselor’s Cupboard

Donate non-perishable and perishable food to the Mercer Law food pantry, so current students have the opportunity to satisfy food insecurities.

Current students, faculty, staff, community members, and student organizations contribute to the Counselor’s Cupboard’s restocking of food and other items.

For more information about contributions or other questions, please contact SBA President Caitlin Verrillo.

The Counselor’s Cupboard is located on the first floor of the law school in room 144.

Volunteering in the Community

Through a service-learning project aligning with Mercer Law’s 150th anniversary celebration, the incoming class of first-year law students joined law school faculty and staff to take a stand against homelessness in the Middle Georgia community. The project organized by United Way of Central Georgia, Macon-Bibb County and Mercer Law provided the group an opportunity to volunteer at the gardens at the Brookdale Resource Center during first-year orientation. The goal was for the law community to learn about and support needs in the Middle Georgia community.
