Walker Lee

Associate Director of Advocacy

Walker Lee joined Mercer Law School in January 2026 as the School’s associate director of advocacy. Lee brings courtroom and dispute resolution experience to the law school.

A first-generation college student from Douglas, Georgia, Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and anthropology from Valdosta State University and master’s degrees in sociology and criminal justice. After graduating from Mercer Law with his J.D., he earned an LL.M. in trial advocacy from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law and participated in the program’s international trial advocacy capstone in Rome, Italy. Lee is currently completing an LL.M. in dispute resolution at the University of Missouri–Columbia.

After Mercer Law, Lee practiced as an associate attorney at Chambless, Higdon, Richardson, Katz and Griggs LLP, where he focused on civil litigation and governmental liability defense. During this time, he attended the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association Trial and Mediation Academy and received the “Best of the Best” award, recognizing an outstanding participant in the program.

As a student and alumnus, Lee competed and coached in multiple national trial competitions, winning the William W. Daniel National Mock Trial Competition in 2023. Now, he teaches courses in trial advocacy and alternative dispute resolution and coaches multiple advocacy teams.
