Competency, Confidence, and Community: Building Bonds to Become the Best Attorneys We Can Be
- Monday, February 5 – Tuesday, February 13: Boo Gram sales. Purchase here!
- Saturday, February 10: BLSA’s Annual Professional Headshot Event. Register to have your photo taken on Saturday, February 10th in the Bell-Jones Courtroom from 12:00 -3:00 PM. Headshots cost $35 and are open to all. Register here.
- Monday, February 12: Blackout Day—Students and allies wear black to show condolences to all African American lives lost at the hands of discrimination and violence.
- Tuesday, February 13: Dress for Success—Dress for the Role You Want in Classroom B from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. A panel discussion featuring BLSA alums discussing how to dress for professional obligations while still expressing your authenticity. The event is open to everyone.
- Wednesday, February 14: Love Yourself—Take a moment for self-care with BLSA. All students and staff are invited to the 3rd Floor Conference Room (361), for sweet treats, relaxation, and tips on self-care!
- Thursday, February 15: Support A Black Business and Contribution Night. Join us at Marie’s Lounge, 4581 Forsyth Rd Suite A, at 6:00 PM. Mention, “I’m with Mercer BLSA,” and we’ll get a percentage of the proceeds!
- Friday, February 16: BLSA Legal Symposium at Brookdale Resource Center. Join BLSA as we host a legal symposium with Georgia Legal Services, Volunteers for America, River’s Edge Recovery Center, and local attorneys as they offer resources to the patrons of Brookdale Resource Center from 5:30 – 6:30 PM.
