Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell announced the appointment of Nathan Lee, ‘83, to Virginia’s Sixth Circuit Court Bench on Sep. 6, 2012. According to Article VI, Section 7 of the Constitution of Virginia, Lee will "serve until thirty days after the commencement of the next session of the General Assembly." Continued service on the Circuit Court will require election by the General Assembly.
Lee, a native of Hopewell, Va., has practiced law in Virginia for 29 years. He started his legal career with a small firm and has run a private practice for the last 18 years. He has served as a substitute judge for the last 20 months.
