Third Annual Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition

Mercer Advocacy Council is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition. The competition will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15 through Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Mercer University School of Law in Macon, Georgia. Click here for more information.

The student editors of LEAP need attorney volunteers to judge the oral argument rounds on Friday, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17. Each round lasts one hour, and all of the arguments will take place at the Law School. If you can volunteer to bench one or more rounds, please contact Sheri Bagheri at sbagheri13@lawmail.mercer.edu.

The competition is compromised of 22 teams from 15 Law Schools from around the nation. Mercer Law School will not compete because it is hosting the event. Among the participating Law schools are Baylor (Waco, Texas), Elon University (Elon, N.C.), Emory University, Faulkner University (Mobile, Ala.), Florida Coastal (Jacksonville, Fla.), Georgia State University, John Marshall University, Pepperdine University (Los Angeles, Calif.), Stetson (Gulfport, Fla.), Saint Louis University (St. Louis, Mo.), Texas Tech University (Lubbock), University of Florida (Gainesville), University of Georgia, University of Houston (Texas), and University of Mississippi (Oxford).
