On Friday, February 8, 2011 the Georgia Legal History Foundation sponsored an all-day seminar on a series of especially interesting events and personalities in the history of the Georgia legal system. The seminar was held in the Courtroom of the Mercer Law School and the Law School was one of the co-sponsors of the event. Two of the Law School’s fine young alumni, Stuart Walker and Griffin Bell III, organized the program. They had the able assistance of Yonna Shaw. Several Law School faculty members and adjuncts made excellent presentations during the seminar on topics relating to Georgia legal history and professionalism. Nancy Terrill handled the CLE arrangements and Chris Bombardo did yeoman service in providing technology support.
