Professor Pinder received her B.A. from Smith College, her J.D. from New York University School of Law, and her LL.M in advocacy from Georgetown University Law Center. She has taught at University of Texas School of Law, Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, University of Tennessee College of Law, Charlotte School of Law, Howard University School of Law, and Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. She has also taught for the Council of Legal Education, and was a 2012 NIFTEP Fellow. Professor Pinder is a former program attorney at the United States Department of Education’s Office of the General Counsel where she represented a number of educational grant programs in No Child Left Behind Amendment to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965.
