Assistant Dean of Students
Jenny Wright became Assistant Dean of Students for Mercer Law in September 2017. From 2008-2013, she served as the Associate Director and then Director of Student Judicial Affairs at the University of Tennessee. Wright, a Knoxville native, earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science with a concentration in public administration. She also holds M.S. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and J.D. from The University of Tennessee.
While at the University of Tennessee, Wright served on the senior staff for the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, developed the university’s Title IX policies and procedures, and was a lecturer in the College Student Personnel master’s degree program. She is a member of the Tennessee State Bar and has served as a committee member or volunteer for community boards, organizations, and political campaigns in Knoxville.
Outside of work, she has a Coton de Tulear puppy named Coconut. She is a Francophile and her favorite place to holiday is Paris.
