AdmissionsAs a top provider of legal education in the South, admission to the Mercer School of Law is selective.

As a top provider of legal education in the South, admission to the Mercer School of Law is selective. Thanks to a significant financial endowment, we choose to keep the size of our student body extraordinarily small to ensure the most individualized, personal experience possible.

A Selective Environment
Total enrollment in the law school is a little over 400 students. Our student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1 is as low as you're likely to find at ABA-accredited schools. As a result, we have earned a reputation as one of the nation's top producers of lawyers who bring knowledge, foresight, and professional skills to the job from day one.

Law Preview Days

The Office of Admissions hosts Law Preview Days during the year for prospective applicants, admitted students, and their guests. Law Preview Day events include:

  • Admissions, financial aid, and career services presentations
  • A student-guided tour of Mercer’s School of Law
  • An opportunity to meet faculty and current students

All prospective students are encouraged to attend Law Preview Day at the Law School on Friday, January 22, 2010 or Friday, February 19, 2010 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Please RSVP online, or by contacting the Admissions Office at 478-301-2605, 800-342-0841 ext. 2605 inside Georgia, 800-637-2378 ext. 2605 outside Georgia.
