Cost of Attendance

Mercer University School of Law is committed to expending its resources and professional energy in a manner calculated to producing the most positive results for our students because we understand that law school is a significant investment of a student's resources.

Tuition and Fees for the 2013-14 academic year will be $37,260.

The cost of living in Macon is very affordable. A living expense allowance of $20,219 is budgeted in your cost of attendance in addition to tuition and fees. This allowance should be adequate to meet your needs for the nine-month academic year.

The monthly living expense budget for the academic year is:

  • Rent $660
  • Food $260
  • Utilities $335
  • Transportation $275
  • Personal $210

The living expense budget also includes the following annual costs:

  • Books $1,482
  • Health Insurance $1370
  • Anticipated Direct Loan fees $1707

More than 90 percent of Mercer students receive financial aid in the form of scholarships, loans, and work study.
