Legal Writing Faculty

Mercer's faculty is nationally recognized for its contribution to the field of legal writing. In addition to being experienced and dedicated teachers, Mercer's legal writing professors are productive scholars, writing articles and books on the cutting edge of the field's development. Each year they travel to other law schools to make conference presentations and to serve on boards and committees of national legal writing groups and committees of the ABA. During 2005-2006, they will be preparing to co-host the 2006 Conference of the Legal Writing Institute, which will bring together some 350 legal writing teachers representing nearly every accredited law school in the nation.
