Lessons from Enron
On October 17, 2002, the Mercer Law Review,
the Mercer Center for Legal Ethics and Professionalism, and the
Eugene Stetson School of Business of Mercer University co-sponsored
a one-day symposium on "Lessons from Enron." The focus
for the Symposium was a set of preliminary recommendations of
the American Bar Association Task Force on Corporate Governance.
The evening before the symposium, a dinner was held to welcome
and honor the participants in the symposium. Speakers for the
symposium included:

The topics covered at the symposium included
issues of accounting and audits, corporate governance, and the
role of the in-house lawyer.
The proceedings from the Symposium were published
in Volume 54 of the Mercer
Law Review.
