Michelle Byrd joined the Mercer Law Library staff in 2002 as Circulation Manager, Interlibrary Loan Manager, Course Reserve Manager and Student Supervisor. In July of 2005 Ms. Byrd was promoted to Law Library Associate. She continues her previous duties but has added those of Reference Services Assistant. She previously practiced law in Macon, Georgia, and later served as Assistant District Attorney, Clerk for the Chief Judge, and Court Administrator (all in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit). Most recently she worked for a labor and employment law firm in Macon, developing affirmative action plans for corporate clients.
