Professor Jennifer Sheppard Awarded the 2010-2011 Eisenberg Prize

Professor Jennifer Sheppard received the 2010-2011 Eisenberg Prize for the best article on appellate practice and procedure from the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. The American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, a professional organization of selected lawyers who specialize in appellate practice, sponsors an award named for the late Howard B. Eisenberg, Dean of the Marquette University Law School and an early member of the organization. Mercer Alumnus, Amy Landers May, Named South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer of the Year

Amy Landers May, a 2001 graduate of Mercer Law School and a shareholder of Rogers Townsend & Thomas, PC, has been named the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer of the Year. 

The award is given annually to the attorney - under the age of 36 or with less than five years of practice - who best exemplifies excellence in the legal profession and in public service.
